The Lafayette Club

Pre-Super Bowl event in Minnetonka, Minn., on Feb. 3 aims to raise $40,000+ for families in need

What:
Dun-chya-no only Minnesotans are daring, brave and smart (crazy) enough to take a bike ride in the extreme cold and snow, just one day before the Super Bowl!

Join employees from UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, along with corporate partners and friends, and take part in the 2nd annual UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) Frosty Fat Tire Festival fundraiser.

The festival will feature 50 fat tire circuit bike riders who will round a ½-mile circuit as many times as they can to raise dollars that fund medical grants that help children gain access to health-related services.

Additional frozen-fun festival activities will include a brunch buffet, hot-chocolate bar, s’mores, reindeer sleigh rides and Hammer-Schlagen. This event is distinctively Northern, quirky, fun and – best of all – it benefits kids.

All funds raised will go straight toward helping the mission of UHCCF – awarding medical grants that help children gain access to health-related services across the United States.
