When Title IX became law in 1972 it not only opened doors for girls to have the equal opportunity to play sports on the same level as the boys, it created a launching pad for some of Minnesota’s most impactful changemakers. Join us for a conversation with three women whose love of the game was the catalyst for both their lifelong friendships and their ongoing work to provide Minnesota’s girls with a pathway to success and equity. Faith Johnson Patterson of Visitation High School, Kathie Eiland-Madison of Delta Dental, and Lisa Lissimore of the Minnesota State High School League share insights into their past work, current projects, and visions for the future.
