Belonging: How Our Differences Can Drive Success
Thu Feb 24 00:00:00 UTC 2022
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Presented by Ernst & Young

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX and the upcoming NCAA Women's Final Four tournament being held in Minneapolis, you're invited to join EY and Minnesota luminaries in a virtual discussion on Belonging: How our differences can drive success.

Our panelists will provide personal insights on being inclusive leaders and how being part of a community has made a positive impact on their life and career. They will dive into the emotional response that comes from feeling a sense of belonging. While they will discuss being part of a team or a community, they will also share the role individuals play in helping others feel they belong. This will be a family-friendly discussion, so we encourage children to participate.

Panelists include:

  • Melissa Mench, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP and moderator
  • Lisa Stark, Executive Vice President and Controller, U.S. Bank
  • A Member of the Minnesota Lynx WNBA Team
  • Joice Maduaka, Executive Management, Ernst & Young LP and Track and Field Olympian
  • Tricia Downing, Talent Team, Ernst & Young LLP and Paralympian in Pistol Shooting

We encourage you and your family members to submit questions for the panelists in advance by emailing Kari Quayle at kari.quayle@ey.com Our hope is that this uplifting session creates future conversations within your own home, teams, and community on the role each person plays to promote the feeling of belonging. This event will be held virtually.
